Car Lockout & Vehicle Entry Across North Wales Keys locked inside, a fob that's died, or a boot that won't open — we get you back into your car quickly and without a mark left on it. Being locked out is one of those situations that always seems to happen at the worst possible time — engine running with the keys on the seat, a child's hand on the door lock, or a fob battery that chose today to die. Panic tends to make things worse, and so does calling someone who reaches for a crowbar. We use proper non-destructive entry tools designed for the job, so your locks, seals and paintwork come through untouched.

What affects the cost of a car lockout?

We can’t post a flat figure, because the honest cost depends on the job. Here’s what affects it:

  • The make and model of your vehicle, as lock designs vary.
  • Whether it’s a standard lockout or a more complex central-locking fault.
  • Time of day and how far we need to travel to reach you.
  • Whether the keys are visible inside, which affects the tool and technique used.
  • The age of the vehicle and the type of locking mechanism fitted.
  • Whether a replacement key or fob is also needed afterwards.

Tell us your make, model and what’s happened, and we’ll give you a clear price before we set off.

Car Lockout & Vehicle Entry Across North Wales FAQs

Is non-destructive entry genuinely non-destructive?

It means the car is opened with tools built for that purpose rather than by forcing or drilling anything, so your locks, seals and paintwork come through the job as they went into it. That is what the equipment in the van is for — improvising with the wrong tool is how a lockout turns into bodywork.

Does it help if I can see where the keys are inside the car?

It does, and it is one of the things we ask. Whether the keys are on a seat, shut in the boot or out of sight entirely changes which tool and technique suit the job, so it is worth saying when you call.

The doors open but the boot will not — is that a key problem?

Usually not. Where the rest of the central locking behaves normally, a boot that refuses to release points at its own catch or actuator rather than at the key or the immobiliser, and that is something diagnosed on the vehicle rather than assumed.

My fob battery has died and I am locked out — will I need a new key afterwards?

Often not. A flat fob battery is a remote-side failure, so once you are back in the vehicle the remedy is frequently the battery itself. If it turns out the fob has failed for some other reason, you will hear that from us rather than discover it later.
